Focaccia Bread

Focaccia Bread

• 2 ¾ cups flour
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon sugar
• 1 teaspoon dry active yeast
• 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
• 2 tablespoons olive oil • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
• 1 teaspoon dried oregano
• 1 teaspoon dried thyme
• ½ teaspoon dried basil
• 1 cup water
• 1 tablespoon grated parmesan

Mix all dry ingredients together and add vegetable oil and water. When dough has pulled together, knead bread on a floured surface until smooth and elastic. Lightly oil a large bowl and place the dough in the bowl. Turn the dough to coat it. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise for 20 minutes.

Preheat oven to 475 degrees F (245 degrees C). Punch dough down. Place on a greased baking sheet. Pat into a ½” thick rectangle. Brush with oil and sprinkle with cheese.
Bake in oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
